The machine consists of three components: the water tank, the coffee chamber and the coffee pot. The water tank is the lower part and is screwed directly to the coffee pot. The coffee chamber is located between the two. If the espresso maker is filled with the necessary amounts of water and espresso powder, it is heated on the stove. The rising steam creates the pressure needed to pull the color and flavor out of the coffee powder. The flavored water vapor collects in the upper pot and condenses - the espresso is ready. WMF espresso machines are made of rustproof Cromargan® and are available in different designs.
