So far, I'm thrilled.
I've been using this knife for a week now (every day for work) and I'm thrilled. It's very sharp and stays that way, and its weight makes it incredibly precise. The weight also makes chopping herbs faster than with other knives. So far, I highly recommend it.

Quality control?
I've tried and tested quite a few wmf products during the last few years, they were always a pretty nice balance between quality and price. But this one, jesus... Bought it in a WMF outlet store in Ingoldstadt. Because we were in a hurry with 2 small kids, I hadn't tried it out before purchasing. Long story short - quality control fell asleep that day. The blade was "half" sharpened, just on one side, on the other side there were an abundance of gritty swarfs. A complete and utter disgrace. Dear WMF, please don't let this happen again, this is waaaay below your standards. All the best, IB

Very good measuring device for all applications
received this knife as a Christmas present in 2015 and have used it almost daily ever since. Whether you want to cut vegetables, meat, or fruit, this knife handles it all. Regular honing keeps the blade sharp. After a year of use, I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this knife.
