We are very satisfied with our grill
Super practical, you can't go wrong with WMF. Before this, we had a different grill from another brand and we weren't satisfied with it, but we're very happy with the WMF grill.

Not bad! But some parts are not well thought out.
The short power cord is extremely inconvenient! Its forward routing is absurd and completely incomprehensible – it has to be bent to reach the socket at the back! The heat output is adequate for vegetables and sausages, but not ideal for steaks.

Purchased after a WDR test. After some testing of my own, I found the right settings. We are very satisfied; only the cable winding and the plug as a transport lock are still a bit flimsy. A locking mechanism would be better here.

Simply fantastic!!
Great, practical, typical WMF – you can't go wrong. I own several WMF kitchen appliances and dishes, etc., and have never regretted it. I would definitely recommend them. I'm very happy with how they handle toast, meat, and fish. Deserves 5 stars from me!!

Good with a minor weakness
We tried out the Lono contact grill with great anticipation. Unfortunately, it showed a slight weakness right from the start: after preheating (it was set to 4) and placing the first food on the grill, it didn't continue heating, even after increasing the setting to 5, and we had difficulty figuring out what the problem was. After it had already cooled down to hand temperature, it suddenly stopped heating. After that, everything worked perfectly, and it grilled everything well. For this, I'm deducting one star.

Good grilling results, but mediocre workmanship.
After using the grill several times, we are satisfied with the grilling results. The meat and vegetables brown evenly, as do the hamburger buns. However, there is still room for improvement in the workmanship. The plastic parts of the base have rather rough and sharp edges, and the grill is quite wobbly in its "parked" position (upright) because the surface is slightly uneven. The locking mechanism in this position, which uses the plug to secure it in two holes in the housing, is also not very secure. The grill has fallen apart several times when being lifted. On the other hand, the design is significantly better than that of the "other" test winner, which we found a bit too colorful and therefore cluttered.

WMF Lono contact grill 2in1, 2100 watts
purchased the appliance in June 2020. After only 5-6 uses, the top heating element stopped working. I contacted WMF but received no response! Today I disassembled the appliance, cleaned and sanded the contacts, and additionally screwed a screw through the non-stick coated aluminum die-cast plates to ensure a more stable connection.
