Lid broken after 8 months!!
The device has always served me well. After 8 months of use, the lid is broken. Unfortunately, no replacement is available. This is unacceptable from a sustainability perspective.

Appearance and Reality
The blender looks very high-quality, but in practice, the opposite is true. During the warranty period, the cutting unit had to be replaced because the bearing was defective. Shortly after the warranty expired, the program selector switch stopped working, and according to the WMF store, a repair was impossible. In addition, the blender base was cracked. We received a new unit at a "special price." Now, after almost three years, the blender base/screw ring on the second blender has also broken, and replacement parts are unavailable. We will definitely not be buying any more WMF products! Therefore, I can only agree with the negative reviews. And what does WMF have to say about this?

The blender smells strange
bought the blender at the beginning of 2020 and have used it almost daily since then. Even if you clean the blender immediately after use, the smell of the ingredients doesn't really go away. Eventually, I got fed up and wanted to clean it properly with lemons and hot water, but the glass shattered when the water was over 60°C. I hadn't considered that – my own fault – but it was my last desperate attempt to clean it. At the store, they brushed me off, saying they didn't have a replacement blender, would have to order one, and would then contact me. The promised call never came. After four more attempts to chase after the replacement part, I'd had enough. That's how you lose customers. Never again WMF.

Poor quality and far too loud
Purchased in 2018, and now the appliance has broken down, smelling and burnt. Very unsatisfactory at that price, especially since there are no spare parts. It's also very loud; even the neighbors three floors above us enjoyed it.

The appliance stopped working after just over two years. I called the hotline, and the service fee was almost as expensive as a new appliance! Okay, I'm willing to pay (since I'm not some eco-zealot), but I was brushed off and told I should just buy a new one! But I'm definitely not buying WMF again! You should really rethink your strategy!

It would have been nice if something like that had been included in the instruction manual:
We're satisfied with the blending results, but… You can only deal with the weak points if you know them. It's essential to empty the glass jug immediately after blending, rinse it briefly, and let it drain upside down for an extended period. And before the next use, place a drop of vegetable oil between the silicone seal and the blade shaft, directly under the blade (the blade must always rotate freely). Incidentally, the "WMF Kult-Pro 1.8L Stand Mixer" is currently being offered as a new appliance in some online shops. Unfortunately, the availability of spare parts is terrible. In one WMF store, we managed to persuade an employee to take the blade assembly from a new unit they had in stock and sell it to us.

Operating odor & missing spare parts
I own several WMF appliances, but this one is rubbish. It smells like burnt rubber while it's running (which puts me off my food), and the glass jug has already cracked, though it's still holding up. Unfortunately, there are no replacements available :-( The chopping function, however, is very good.

Unfortunately, our pitcher broke due to our own fault. Now I've discovered that it's not even available as a spare part in the WMF shop! Is that possible?

Dissatisfied (bad for the environment) :( I wouldn't give it a single star.
bought this mixer in April 2016 for €169. I used it a few times in 2016 and then didn't use it for two years. Now the appliance isn't getting any power, and the dial only works with force. You also need special tools to access the motor (deliberately). I unfortunately had to give it one star to complete this review! Not intentionally...

Poor quality
The blade and motor work perfectly and are truly powerful. However, the device has unacceptable flaws: the control dial broke after only a few weeks. Although WMF service repaired it free of charge, the problem recurred after two years. A second issue: the lower retaining ring, which connects the glass to the motor block, disintegrated. All in all: unsatisfactory!
