CFG STELIO COFFEE GRINDER EDIT

The grinding performance is very poor; it feels like you always get the same result. The quality isn't really good. Fine coffee grounds for, say, espresso? Forget it. It's a shame, it was an advent calendar gift and has to go back. The dust production is also terrible. It does smell nice in the kitchen after grinding, but having to clean half the countertop after every use wasn't what I had in mind.

After a year of successful use, the grinder no longer turns on. The power button seems to have a mechanical weakness!

was initially skeptical due to the bad reviews, but I took a closer look at the grinder in the factory outlet and tested it, then bought it at the special price of €49.90 (Fischhalle). I was torn between a conical burr grinder and a disc grinder. Opinions really differ on that! :-) So, my conclusion: I mainly drink cappuccino from a Gastroback portafilter machine without a built-in grinder. And occasionally coffee from a French press (depending on the type of coffee). For my machine, the finest grind setting is ideal. I add 0.5 to the cup size. If I want a double espresso, I have to grind for 3 cups at setting 1. Perfect. The pressure sensor on the espresso machine indicates the optimum, so the grind is perfect. The same goes for the coarse grind for the French press, setting 6. Ideal. I use it every day at breakfast and haven't had any problems so far. I guess there's always a dud. And let's be honest, you mainly write a review when you're dissatisfied. That's why I wanted to share my experience. A clear recommendation.

The coffee grinder stopped working after only two months. It has been with WMF for repair for over a month now. There is still no information on when we will get it back working. Such repair times are unacceptable.

Unfortunately, my machine broke down after only two months. The grind setting no longer adjusts, and I can't switch the machine off using the button. Removing the grinding disc also doesn't work as described.

stylish coffee grinder with good adjustment options and a consistent grind. I'd be satisfied if it weren't for the plastic collection container! It builds up static electricity, and the ground coffee sticks to everything; when emptying it, coffee grounds are scattered everywhere. It would be nice if a glass or stainless steel container were available as an accessory! I also couldn't find any other accessories on the WMF website, such as replacement grinding discs.
