Good device
Overall, I'm quite satisfied with the device. The only drawback in my opinion is the plastic collection container. I would have much preferred a glass one.

Disappointing coffee grinder
Contrary to the instructions, the coffee grounds cannot be easily collected in the portafilter when it's held directly under the grinder. A lot spills out, and grounds always end up on the gasket or the rim of the portafilter. Using the collection box makes refilling the portafilter a hopeless chore; some coffee always spills, and there isn't even a plastic spoon included for transferring it. In both cases, it's simply too complicated and results in wasted grounds. Adjusting the grind setting requires a delicate touch; the noise of the grinder is distracting, and you have to work quickly. The ergonomics aren't particularly good either. Otherwise, the grinder's build quality is acceptable.

It's not cheap, but it's worth it. Grinding quality, noise level, handling, design – WMF, despite being made in China!

Nice piece
I like the espresso grinder. However, my cat always flinches and runs out of the kitchen like a bat out of hell whenever I press the start button. My wife says I always make a mess of the kitchen because I try to fill the portafilter directly... and some coffee ALWAYS spills.

A very nice machine that's fun to use. Unfortunately, in my opinion, it's not suitable for espresso.
Elegant device with intuitive operation. Probably great for filter coffee and moka. Even on setting one, the grind was still too coarse for my portafilter. So, with a heavy heart, I returned it.

The espresso grinder fully meets our requirements for fine espresso grounds. It offers settings for all types of coffee. The grind setting needs to be adjusted by trial and error. The amount of coffee ground, measured in units, can be converted to seconds and also needs to be measured, whether using a measuring spoon or scale. Whether more expensive grinders are better is a matter of personal preference. This one offers excellent value for money.
