Perfect tea without much effort!

More show than substance
Visually, it looks great. Unfortunately, it broke down completely inexplicably; the indicator lights just flash wildly, but it no longer boils water. There was no willingness to repair or replace it, and therefore no interest in evaluating any quality defects. What a waste of money (a lot of it!!!).

It's practically perfect, BUT...
First, the positives: The kettle heats the water to the desired temperature super quickly, and the brewing timer function is certainly great if you want to use it. And now the big BUT. You'd expect someone to actually test a kettle in everyday use in this price range. Apparently, that didn't happen, otherwise the following two issues would have been noticed: - Pouring with the lid on is almost impossible. - There's always some water left in the kettle. Regarding the first point: The lid seals so tightly, and the spout is so poorly designed, that no air can get in when pouring. As a result, after a short time, the resulting vacuum almost completely stops the water from coming out. A small forced vent would have worked wonders here. I usually just leave the lid off now. Regarding the second point: There's a bulge in the metal where the upper metal ring rests on the glass, which prevents the water from draining completely. Who came up with this nonsense? And the instructions even say you should always empty the kettle completely. Unfortunately, that's not possible... It still gets four stars, though, because apart from these two points, it really does exactly what it's supposed to. And it does it quickly, precisely, and reliably.

Was für einen "Anzeigename" erwarten Sie von mir ??, on date
What kind of "title" do you expect from me?
bought the "Lono 2-in-1 Tea and Water Kettle, 1.7 L". It's a great appliance overall. I use it daily at the office as a tea kettle. Great. Thumbs up. Two things: 1. You sent two emails "en bloc" with the same request for a review. Once is enough! 2. See the reply in the "Title" and "Display Name" fields. I can't imagine how to answer these two questions. Best regards and have a nice week. Wolfgang Limmer

Very good
A visually appealing device, high-quality, functional; no need for a warmer or teapot. What more could you want?!

Super.
As described. Great.

GREAT, but...
The spout is very narrow: if you tilt it harder (to speed things up), the spout becomes airtight => then even less water comes out!! ... and when will there finally be a 2-liter kettle?

Very satisfied. The keep-warm button and the various temperature settings are simply superb.

Great device!
I originally bought it as a kettle for the office; I hadn't even considered the possibility of brewing delicious (loose) tea...which means I'll be taking the WMF appliance home and bringing my regular kettle to the office. The appliance is quiet, fast, and looks great, which is an added bonus.

Teekocher mit Technik für nicht jedermann!?, on date
Good device with minor flaws.
The kettle/tea maker is visually very appealing. My only complaint is that the instructions didn't mention how to open the tea strainer, forcing me to tug and pull on it until it finally opened. The timer function isn't intuitive, and I still haven't figured out the exact procedure for setting the correct times, especially for keeping the tea warm. I find the regular price excessive. Otherwise, I'm quite satisfied and would happily recommend it.
