This cutlery set is by far the worst I have ever owned. After just a few months, all the knives had clearly visible scratches so deep that they couldn't even be removed with polish. I was incredibly disappointed and wondered if I had done something wrong. Since the cutlery was always cleaned in the dishwasher (a Miele with a cutlery drawer) and I couldn't find the cause of the damage, I submitted a warranty claim to WMF. After sending it in, they sent me a new set. A few months later, the same problem occurred again. I can't understand how cutlery can scratch so badly after such a short time. My parents have had a WMF cutlery set with Cromargan Protect for over 10 years, and it doesn't look anything like mine after just two months. I've decided: I'll be buying my cutlery from a different manufacturer in the future.

High-gloss, medium-weight cutlery with an understated, timeless design. Very affordable in the online shop. Will last us for decades to come.
