Cheap quality
I actually like WMF, but the Stelio Aroma is a disappointment. It's a very lightweight machine, with some cheap plastic parts. I can confirm the issue with the glass carafe that's been mentioned here. The drip stop in the filter holder is quite tight, making it difficult to insert the carafe. Yes, it's quite annoying. I got the machine on sale with an additional discount. Even so, there are better filter coffee machines available for the price. In conclusion: WMF should focus on building higher-quality products and charging a bit more, rather than losing customers with cheap parts.

My faithful companion for 4 years
This coffee machine has been my faithful companion for four years now. It still works like new, and I use it almost every day. Typical WMF quality! Some of the reviewers here apparently don't know how to handle glass or that you actually need to clean a coffee machine.

No spare parts available.
Don't buy this! They've already stopped supplying replacement carafes for my coffee machine, which I bought eight months ago. I bought it in January 2020, and since May I've just been given the runaround and now they've fobbed me off with a €5 voucher. Do they really think I'll just buy something new, spend much more than €5, and then WMF will make extra money? The worst service I've ever experienced. Companies like this should be publicly sued.

Throwaway society - thank you WMF for your support
The glass carafe is easily breakable. Normally, this wouldn't be a problem, since you can always buy a replacement carafe if necessary. BUT: WMF doesn't supply replacement carafes. The item has been unavailable for months. As a customer, you're essentially forced to throw away your "old," fully functional machine. Very poor customer service. An excerpt from WMF's mission statement: "The responsible use of resources is a matter of course for us." This is downright laughable considering the availability of spare parts. We strongly advise against buying a WMF machine.

Lots of noise, good coffee
We needed a new coffee machine because our current one was getting old and the coffee just didn't taste right anymore. So we bought the WMF Stelio, as we were impressed by the WMF brand and the design. After the initial setup, we brewed our first pot of coffee. To make a long story short, the brewing process was accompanied by very loud gurgling noises, which we only ever heard from our old coffee machine when it needed descaling. So, three stars deducted. The other two stars are for the tasty coffee.

Typical WMF: simple yet great design, high quality, and excellent brewing! I've been more than satisfied with my WMF coffee machine for two years now and no longer need a portafilter or pump pot.

No replacement
Neither the replacement glass carafe nor the thermos flask is available. We use 15 coffee machines daily, but this has never happened to us with any other brand. This is an absolute disgrace for WMF. The coffee machine is only four weeks old! Never again WMF!!! We won't have any more WMF products in our restaurant either.
