Great for coated pans
I've been buying these sponges for years because they last a very long time and are gentle on the coating, even with stubborn, burnt-on food. They're also suitable for stainless steel. Water, dish soap, sponge, and everything gets clean. Definitely worth the price! I recommend them because years ago I thought a cheap one would do and bought what I thought was a "steel sponge for coated pans." Big mistake, because the coating was completely scratched afterward. Don't skimp on the sponge when it comes to good, expensive pans and pots!
