Simple recipes are missing.
The two-star deduction is due to the fact that even the simplest flavors, like vanilla or chocolate ice cream, weren't included. So far, I haven't been able to find a recipe for even this small quantity on the usual websites. Unfortunately, this is also the reason why I will probably return the machine. What a shame.

Fantastic!
bought this machine at the last minute before Christmas to treat my family to dessert. I'd previously borrowed a standard-sized, discount-store machine from a friend. However, I have to say I'm much happier with this smaller one. For family gatherings, we just use the second container. But let's be honest, what do you really need more of throughout the year? Family celebrations, or just a couple of friends craving a scoop of ice cream? Plus, I much prefer this one because I can make two different flavors without having a huge amount left over. I love it! And it doesn't take up much space in the kitchen cupboard! This machine is worth every penny.

Bought it yesterday, great machine for a small household. Tried making lemon sorbet right away: absolutely delicious! :) The second freezer container is definitely useful!

The machine not only looks great, it's also extremely small, practical, and makes fantastic ice cream. You know exactly what ingredients go into it; completely free of chemicals or preservatives; everything is fresh and delicious. We are absolutely delighted! WMF quality at its best!

spontaneously bought one of those ice cream makers with a spare container – available separately in specialty stores or online!! – and I think the size is just fantastic. I'm already looking forward to making my first homemade ice cream...

My first homemade ice cream.
I bought this ice cream maker, being a bit skeptical since I thought ice cream makers without a compressor were no good. I made my first batch of ice cream (lemon buttermilk ice cream) with it and was surprised by the result. The ice cream was frozen solid within 15 minutes. I was even able to make a second batch afterward, although it wasn't quite as firm. But that didn't matter. I put everything in the freezer anyway. The only downside is the small container. I would give it 5 stars if you could order an additional freezer container separately. But I haven't found one yet.
