Everything is easy to use, except the strainer on the spout doesn't stay in place and keeps falling into the pot.

I'm very happy with the kettle. It does what it's supposed to and looks nice too – what more could you want? I would buy it again.

After three and a half years of daily use, the lid of this €80.95 kettle broke; the hinge snapped. The kettle was used twice a day and was handled with care. I never used the included tea strainer. Positive points: The design and compact size. And the clear, intuitive operation. Negative points: The rubber seal in the lid was useless from the start on my kettle, as the lid doesn't close flush, and steam escapes near the handle. The spout is too small: Emptying takes a relatively long time, or water runs down the side of the kettle if you're in a hurry. WMF could have prevented the relatively high standby power consumption of approximately 0.5W with a simple on/off switch, but presumably, that would have been too expensive to manufacture. Conclusion: The kettle looks nice, but the quality doesn't justify the price; functionally, it has a few shortcomings.

top design, practical kettle for every day use! Since I have it, I make tea for the whole family 3 times a day, and you can insert the tea bag at the same time the water is being boiled, you can make tea for 2 with only 1 teabag and check the color of the tea for an optimal taste! as its transparent, you make sure the kettle is always clean and there are no calcareous deposits. With LED light for the night tea, it makes tea making easy and relaxing!

Defective and returned for two weeks under warranty for repair or replacement bag, still none arrived. Two weeks without a kettle at home. Never again will I buy from the WMF branch in Hamburg.

Small but perfectly formed...water heats up quickly.

am very disappointed to buy a high end premium quality and price kettle Vario " for 4 months and now today I spotted the top surface ring frame area near to the mouth piece CORRODED. And I don't think it is a true Stainless steel material at all. It was a kind of IRON material PLATED in stainless steel looks. I wonder how many other range of products has the similar problems.... Surely I would like WMF to provide an explanation and quality assurance of its actual products are true material as per its stated in their products specifications. I can accept the country of origin even if the product is made in a certain country.... But I would expect the manufacturer to assure to us the customers that the products have met and passed the manufacturer quality assurance certification."

Adjustable from 60 degrees in 10-degree increments. The tea strainer is very practical, but the tea bag holder is more for show, as it's quite impractical. The keep-warm function is nice, but it's immediately deactivated when you lift the pot. That's rather inconvenient. For normal use, especially with the practical 1-liter size, it's perfectly fine.
