used to think you couldn't really go wrong with a sieve. But I've since learned otherwise. The Profi Plus brew sieve is a definite recommendation: The handle is long enough that the sieve can be hung over the sink, even in standard-sized sinks, to drain liquids. The handle at the top of the sieve is wide and long enough that it doesn't immediately slip into the sink when, for example, draining pasta. Furthermore, the handle is very well reinforced; it won't break, and the sieve can be carried securely even when full.

I'm disappointed because the expensive sieve has stains in the middle.
The sieve has several black spots in the middle that I didn't notice in the store. At home, I thought they would surely come off after washing. However, these spots are still visible after hand washing and then washing in the dishwasher. It's quite annoying, especially since the sieve costs over €30. I recommend that stores inspect the products very carefully and not just buy the first ones they see.

Very good quality
The brewing sieve makes a very high-quality impression and feels good in the hand. The only downside, as with all Profi Plus products, is that cleaning it is a bit more involved without a dishwasher, as you have to clean all the nooks and crannies.
