not entirely satisfied
The handle is far too heavy. If a slightly smaller pot is used, there is a high risk of tipping over and therefore of scalding.

The product fits well in the hand and is of very high quality.
Good quality, it's a pleasure to use the sieve.

The price is excessive.
The quality/workmanship is WMF standard - but the price-performance ratio is not okay, i.e. even the reduced price is totally excessive.

Excellent product - highly recommended!
used to think you couldn't really go wrong with a sieve. But I've since learned otherwise. The Profi Plus brew sieve is a definite recommendation: The handle is long enough that the sieve can be hung over the sink, even in standard-sized sinks, to drain liquids. The handle at the top of the sieve is wide and long enough that it doesn't immediately slip into the sink when, for example, draining pasta. Furthermore, the handle is very well reinforced; it won't break, and the sieve can be carried securely even when full.
