I unpacked the great-looking salt and pepper mills and there's already a dent in the casing ☹️ I'll exchange them immediately after the lockdown!

In use immediately upon delivery; simply insert the batteries, fill the container, turn it upside down, and seasoned in a flash...highly recommended.

purchased two for home cooking use. After 18 months I replaced the one used for salt because the metal shaft and male dock had corroded. After a further 18 months the same happened again. This led to me son breaking it as it was stuck. You will see in the photos that corrosion is a problem and there is rust in the power and motor section. It is worse for salt but is also present for pepper. It would be good if the manufacturer could consider why this is happening. It defeats the whole object of a professional standard kitchen set if it can't be used and stored in a kitchen. Obviously, salt is corrosive. But I paid £60 each for these. I love them. I have ordered one more. Unfortunately, WMF won't ship to other EEC countries, so it is twice the price as in Germany. I may try alternative storage or a silicone bag in the motor casing. But I think the manufacturer needs to be in touch to deal with some satisfaction for the design fault. It is ruining an otherwise brilliant product.

These spice mills are practical and easy to use. A real eye-catcher in any kitchen.

We now have our third WMF mill. Unfortunately, the handling wasn't as perfect as with these two. You could tell right from the unpacking that the quality was completely different. The handling is also superb. Now we're hoping for a long and happy relationship.

We had this product from another company, and it only lasted 3 months. Let's see how long these grinders last. Otherwise, highly recommended; everything stays clean and is easy to dose.
