I've been using this glass measuring cup several times a day for months now, and I've recently bought two more as gifts and for myself. It's incomparable to plastic cups – it's simply more appealing. Of course, you have to handle the thin glass, which makes it pleasantly light, with a little care! It's a pleasure to use every time!

Glass under tension
As a business and private customer of WMF, I was actually very impressed with this product until today. The glass measuring cup is used properly and carefully, but now it has a large crack and chipping at the junction between the base and the outer container. And this is despite the fact that the cup has only been standing still, without any hot-cold shocks. For a product at this price, one would expect glass that can withstand everyday wear and tear. Unfortunately, the customer service and the underlying philosophy are "tough luck, buy a new one." No warranty, no exchange, and no compensation equal to the purchase price. If I ran my business like that and fobbed off my customers when they had problems with my product, I probably wouldn't be in business for two weeks.
