So far, so good!
used the whisk several times a week for baby food for a while without any problems. I also own the 21 cm version, and so far, no issues.

Loses the balls
I've been using this WMF whisk for several years now (not excessively often). Initially, I was very satisfied with the product; it seemed high-quality and was very easy to use. However, the whisk has now lost three metal balls, all of which we found by chance in our food. The largest, middle ball was lying among the peas on my little daughter's plate yesterday. Luckily, she didn't eat the peas, because she could have choked on it dangerously. This really shouldn't happen! If you unknowingly bite down hard on one of these metal balls, you can easily ruin your teeth...

Ball fell off, tooth broken
I absolutely cannot recommend this product! One of the balls fell off, and I only noticed it while eating. As a result, I had to go to the dentist, and this product caused me approximately €1,300 in damages!

Ball fell off after 5 uses
After the fifth use, a ball fell off. The product is actually good, but the ball issue is a bit disappointing.
