It's great!
wouldn't have thought it, but the opener really doesn't leave any sharp edges, neither on the lid nor on the can. It's also not cheaply made and feels nice in the hand. It works for both left- and right-handed people.

I bought this can opener several years ago… To this day, I have absolutely no complaints about it. Once properly positioned, it cuts all the way around. When the can is fully opened, there's a soft cracking sound. There are no sharp edges left behind, and the "mini-pliers" on the side make it easy to remove and replace the lid! 5 stars

The result is convincing.
The superbly crafted can opener takes some getting used to due to its unexpected design. However, once you've figured out how it works, the result is astonishing: no sharp edges whatsoever, and the lid can be elegantly replaced.

Read the instruction manual beforehand.
If you read the enclosed instructions beforehand, you'll find it very easy to use and the functionality is ingenious. However, you won't be able to open the can without the instructions.

Good device
I bought this can opener a while ago and I'm still happy with it. It's easy to use and so far it's the only one that has worked well on all the cans I've tried! No warped metal, no sharp edges. And the empty can can be reused for anything since there's no sharp burr left behind!

Expectations not met
I'm happy with my WMF kitchen gadgets. However, I'm disappointed with their can opener. It's unwieldy and extremely difficult to open cans. So I'll go back to buying a tried-and-tested can opener and simply use my own muscle power to hammer the spike into the can lid and cut it open.
