It is not for hanging.
Beautiful spoon, but not for hanging.

It feels quite hard in the hand.
Far too heavy for a cooking spoon; the stainless steel handle is quite solid and therefore heavy in the hand.

Top cooking spoon
always used a wooden one, but I always felt it wasn't suitable for my non-stick pan. Since I got my wooden cooking spoon, it feels fantastic in my non-stick pan...no noise when frying onions. So I can definitely recommend it.
