Damaged products sold as new!
The knife comes in a wooden box when purchased online. In the outlet, it was wrapped in plastic! Furthermore, it had scratches and dents all over it. Not worthy of a high-quality knife in this price range. I returned it…

I bought this knife as a gift for my mother, and she's absolutely thrilled with it (she takes better care of it than any other utensil). I even got to try it myself and have to say: Wow, it cuts incredibly well and feels great in the hand. I'll definitely be getting more from this series :)

It really looks like new, even though I use it almost every day. With proper care, it really lasts forever. If handled carefully and sharpened regularly, it'll probably last another 20+ years.

ideal for everyday use
After about two years of use and only occasional honing on a whetstone, it remained very sharp. There were tiny chips on the sheath (a normal result of honing), which were easily removed with a quick grind. The steel is also known as 1.4116 (X50CrMoV15) – hardness 56-58 HRC. 0.5% carbon, 15% chromium.
