Disappointing
I can only agree with the previous reviewer. It's actually a very good product. However, once the sharpening plates become dull, you have to throw the whole thing away. You can't buy replacement parts. That's both environmentally unfriendly and uneconomical. Furthermore, the knife sharpener is far too expensive for what it is.

Initially a great knife sharpener, but later just a disposable product.
I agree with the previous reviewer. I was initially very enthusiastic about the knife sharpener. However, after the sharpening plates became dull, I discovered that it's impossible to get replacements. Now I have to throw the knife sharpener away and buy a different product. And all because replacement parts aren't available. That's both environmentally unfriendly and uneconomical. What a shame.

Good price
The product looks fantastic and is quick and easy to use. The results are superb; all the knives are as sharp as they were when new. And the price is great too. Simply fantastic, I'm thrilled.

Disposable product
Great at first! After one year of use and only three rotations of the sanding pads, it's ineffective. Because there's no replacement for this wear part, this otherwise great device has become a disposable product. What a shame!
