Beautiful, fast and quiet
The Lono kettle is very high quality. I can't understand the negative reviews. It is true that it sits a little loosely on the base, but that's not a problem. The plastic smell from the lid completely disappeared after a few days. By far the best kettle I could find!

Poor quality at an exorbitant price
We should have read the reviews before buying! The hinge broke after less than two years – rendering the device useless. Cleaning is difficult and there's a serious risk of scalding. Extremely disappointing and completely contrary to the brand's claims.

Absolute garbage. The hinges broke. They look like they were designed to break. No replacement parts available. Zero stars would be more appropriate.

Expensive WMF junk, one star is too generous a rating
Unfortunately, I did not inspect the product in person before purchasing it; I bought it based on photos I found online. The following issues are problematic: Very difficult to clean the interior due to protruding edges and folds, as well as the strainer at the spout. The lid has a cheap plastic hinge. The lid sticks when the pot is hot and cannot be opened by pressing the button. There is a risk of burns when touching the hot pot, especially the lid. Boiling water overflows uncontrollably from the lid when pouring. The water level indicator is very difficult to read because it is located behind the handle and there is no visible water level marking. In conclusion: short lifespan due to cheap materials. Poor handling due to a poorly designed construction. Danger to the user from hot exterior parts and an unreadable water level indicator. This product should be withdrawn from the market immediately for safety reasons.

Hinges broke within 1 year
Unfortunately, I have to agree with others. At this price and with this brand, you don't expect a so-called "planned obsolescence" feature, meaning flimsy plastic hinges whose lifespan of more than two years is unacceptable due to heat and wear. This is inferior quality at an extremely high price and pure electronic waste. The product management should be ashamed.
