WMF Perfection 880L Fully Automatic Coffee Machine

was extremely skeptical because we'd only ever had portafilter machines before. About 20 years ago, I had a Jura automatic. But I was persuaded, and we bought this fully automatic coffee machine. The coffee tastes good, especially the espresso, cappuccino, and latte macchiato. I'm not so impressed with the regular Americano, but that's a matter of taste. The machine is completely self-explanatory, and you're always guided through the menu. You can also skip the menu if you know the steps. I was also able to easily perform my first descaling. The machine does have one small drawback: it uses a lot of water. Although, of course, I don't have anything to compare it to. The constant prompts to clean the milk system, whether the small or large cleaning cycle, are a bit annoying. Okay, if you don't do that, the machine could get dirty, and you won't get the milk foam quality you might want. The cleaning cycles also use a lot of water, of course. Overall, though, I'm very happy with the fully automatic machine.

Having been spoiled by the 1000 Pro, which is simply unbeatable, we are nevertheless very satisfied. The machine is smart and leaves nothing to be desired. Very user-friendly and requires less maintenance.

An absolutely top-notch machine, both in design and workmanship. Very high-quality and precisely manufactured, the materials have a wonderful feel. Operation is almost self-explanatory, and it's fully ready to use within minutes. Preparing any kind of coffee is always a pleasure and a joy. We bought the machine at a WMF branch and were extremely impressed with the advice we received. We had actually come to buy cutlery, but ended up going home with what is probably one of the best fully automatic coffee machines.

Having used a JURA E75 for 20 years, and still in excellent condition, but wanting a new stainless steel-look machine for the kitchen, we came across the WMF 860L at a WMF shop. After receiving helpful advice, we decided on this machine and, following the very easy installation, are very happy with its handling and technology. Whether it will be as reliable as our old one over the years remains to be seen, but for now, we are very pleased with our decision.
