Unfortunately, it's almost impossible to empty the contents completely. Some water always remains in the appliance, which I find particularly problematic after descaling. Therefore, I consider it impossible to make tea directly in the appliance. If water is then heated for something like soup, tea residue will be present. Sadly, this is a design flaw.

The WMF Lono 2-in-1 tea and water kettle has some positive aspects: I like the large capacity, the temperature settings (70, 80, 90, and 100 °C), and the very fast heating time. The glass design also looks high-quality, and the included tea infuser is practical. However, I've only used the kettle twice for boiling water and haven't tried the tea function. Nevertheless, several things bothered me. The kettle beeps repeatedly after heating, and unfortunately, this can't be deactivated. Furthermore, the water sometimes flows very unevenly when pouring. I found the stainless steel lid particularly problematic. It acts like a stopper, gets extremely hot immediately after boiling, and I even burned myself on it. Additionally, some liquid always remains in the kettle due to the internal ridges, so it's never completely empty. This would be very inconvenient for me when making tea. For the price, the appliance unfortunately didn't convince me, and I'm returning it.

I'm not entirely satisfied with the temperature setting.

Delivery was very fast. Online ordering was seamless. An elegant kettle that can also be used for making tea. The various temperature settings are particularly appealing. The 1.7 liters of water heat up significantly faster than on the stovetop.

I was very impressed with the tea maker. But then, after a year, came the disappointment. The appliance no longer works and won't turn off.

Unfortunately, after 5 years of very little use, it suddenly stopped working. The lid is very impractical.

No need to transfer the tea, it stays hot for a long time, only the initial programming is a bit complicated.
