Very solid kettle
The kettle does what it's supposed to. Being made entirely of stainless steel, you can tell the quality is very good. Unfortunately, it's a bit loud.

Botches
A total disappointment! I returned the first kettle after almost two years due to rust on the spout. The second one is rusting in the same places after just one year! WMF should be ashamed.

Short circuit after 2.5 years
All the fuses blow when you switch on the kettle. Seems to be a known problem. If the warranty has expired, you're out of luck and only get a voucher code for 30% off the next one. No thanks.

Functionality limited! Annoying...
Once the kettle is hot, the lid won't open or close by pressing the button. We have to press the button and apply significant pressure to the lid. Honestly, this is incredibly annoying. I feel like I'm paying for the brand name without getting quality. Since so many reviews mention this issue, perhaps this kettle should be discontinued? I like buying WMF products because they're known for quality, not for appliances that simply don't work. For the same price, I could get a really fancy kettle from another company. Thanks for listening! :)

Never again!!!
Fully functional after seven years, unfortunately the handle is now losing its plasticizer and is sticky and greasy. It still looks perfectly maintained, like new, but you can't touch it...sad! I threw it away today.

Bad purchase
Despite adhering to the maximum water level, the kettle lid repeatedly opens during the heating process. There is a risk of scalding from the escaping hot steam.
