Compact device, but large enough. All our spices dried, tomatoes dehydrated and preserved in olive oil. Apple slices dried for muesli. Wonderful. We highly recommend this device.

I've used this dehydrator several times already, for drying herbs and mushrooms, and for making granola bars. It's always worked perfectly! Excellent! It's sufficient for a small household and doesn't take up much space. The plastic rim of the drying racks can warp at higher temperatures, but if you let them cool down after being assembled, they fit together perfectly again. For fruits and vegetables with a higher water content, I recommend placing a dehydrator sheet or reusable baking sheet on the racks to prevent anything from dripping through or sticking during the drying process.

So far, nothing to complain about; nice design, small size. I'm a beginner, but the results look good. Thumbs up!

used the dehydrator very regularly for a good six months – the results were always excellent – until neither the time nor the temperature could be adjusted using the dial. Since I couldn't find the receipt, I simply contacted WMF customer service directly by phone. They helped me quickly, easily, and very kindly, using the service number for the appliance. A very heartfelt thank you for that!

I've had this dehydrator for over two years now, and so far I'm quite happy with it. I don't use it every day, though, just every few days or weeks. So, not excessively! Everything's working perfectly so far. A big plus compared to other dehydrators of a similar size for singles is its very low power consumption. The maximum wattage is listed at 220W, and the maximum temperature is 70°C. However, this brings me to one point of criticism. I've only tried the maximum temperature once, and otherwise I've always dehydrated at 45°C. Even so, the plastic inside the housing is warping slightly, or perhaps the plastic on the racks. At least, I can no longer stack the food neatly on top of the unit. The racks themselves are fine, though. So it's possible the plastic inside is a bit too soft. I hope it lasts a while longer. So far, it has. But as I mentioned, I don't dehydrate at maximum temperature; I've mostly used 45°C. (To almost meet raw food criteria, which are at 42°C, but 40°C takes a little longer and is therefore not my favorite temperature)

The appliance does what it's supposed to, but the trays warp after a few drying cycles, the fan is quite weak, and you have to rotate the trays more often than with other, cheaper stackable dehydrators. The cord could be longer, the chrome finish on the trim is already worn off from washing, and whether the appliance will remain intact seems like a 50/50 chance. I can't recommend this product; if the service weren't so bad, it would be two stars. Regarding the service: I bought two units from one branch. One broke down after only four months and could no longer be set to time or temperature. Starting in January, I tried to get the appliance repaired or replaced. Initially, a branch employee promised to order a replacement (just the base unit) but then never got back to me. When I inquired a month later, they claimed to know nothing about it. They supposedly ordered another unit. Half a month later, when I inquired again, I was told that delivery wasn't possible due to COVID-19, as there were problems in the supply chain. The day before yesterday, I was told they would try to send a replacement from another branch and get back to me tomorrow. Yesterday, I didn't hear from them. Today, I called WMF directly because I'd simply had enough. They knew nothing about a repair order or a replacement product. They said they would send me a return label, but I would have to buy a box myself. After three months of trouble with WMF, I was fed up. I just wanted to drop off my appliance at a branch and be done with it. After all, you can pick up ordered goods, so why not drop them off? I called another branch and asked if it was possible to drop off defective goods for repair or exchange. The employee assured me they would have a replacement ready by Monday, and I could simply hand over my old one. So, it remains to be seen whether I'll ever have two working appliances again. They didn't offer a three-month warranty extension on the replacement product I've been waiting for for three months, which, in my opinion, would be a form of service. The customer service is absolutely terrible and nobody knows what to do or not to do in this store; apparently, there are no procedures for such cases.

I received the dehydrator yesterday and put it to use immediately. I use it for my dog biscuits, and what can I say, it's perfect! The extended racks are finally big enough for a whole day of baking and drying... it's super easy to use, very quiet, and truly a fantastic, high-quality appliance. I'm very, very satisfied.

Very fast and good delivery. I'm satisfied with the dehydrator. Among the cheaper dehydrators, I'd give it a 3 out of 5.
