Usable with limitations
The device works in principle, but unfortunately only with limitations: 1. The skewer attachment of the pusher (part 1) does not hold the vegetables reliably; soft vegetables, in particular, keep falling off. Solution: A barb or spiral (screw) on the pusher to screw into the vegetable! 2. The guide/centering mechanism in the feed tube (part 4) for thin vegetables (e.g., thin carrots) is missing! Result: The food being sliced wobbles. Solution: An additional accessory to be inserted into the feed tube. This could potentially also solve problem 1.

Pleasantly surprised
After reading so many bad reviews, I was unsure whether to even buy the device. I finally took the plunge today and just made my first vegetable spirals. I was prepared for anything: mush, a clogged shaft... Attempt number one was a zucchini: it went through like butter and the spirals were beautifully long. Attempt number two was a carrot (relatively large and not too crooked): that also worked perfectly. I really can't understand the bad reviews at all. The spirals look fantastic and tasted great too! ☺

Luckily, the device was a gift and went straight into the trash after its first use without a second thought! That's exactly where it belongs. Attempt with carrots: it managed to produce 2 cm "long" noodles. Attempt with kohlrabi: it occasionally produced 1 cm long pieces, but the rest (about 85% of the kohlrabi) was mush. This device is an outrage!

Oh, that's a real shame...
Like many other customers, I feel the same way about the spiralizer: good idea, but poorly executed. I wish WMF would remember its original values of quality and superior craftsmanship, setting itself apart from the usual cheap products. Unfortunately, that's often no longer the case. I wish they would use more stainless steel (or glass, where appropriate) instead of all the plastic junk. I'd gladly pay a few euros more for a better-functioning device like that, but unfortunately, that's no longer an option. These plastic products from low-wage countries simply don't meet my needs. It's a real shame.

More than disappointed
was so excited about the slicer; it arrived quickly and I tried it out immediately with sweet potatoes. Inserting all the parts was incredibly easy and straightforward, even without instructions. But that's where the positives ended. On the very first attempt with a sweet potato, a piece of plastic broke off. Shocking and definitely not worth the money! It's going back.

complete waste of money. It deserves zero stars. Unfortunately, that's not an option. Nor can it be a minus.
I hope they take this thing back, otherwise I'll explode. My husband immediately told me to forget about it. But the pictures and the video looked so convincing that I thought I absolutely needed a spiralizer. It would have been better to definitely leave it alone. It just creates waste and work. I tried it with zucchini, carrots, and apples. Since I'm persistent, I tried all three attachments. Same junk.

Great idea!
Anyone who's ever tried to cut vegetable noodles by hand for a family meal will appreciate this fantastic gadget. Since vegetables don't grow to a standard size, it's helpful to allow for some adjustments in technique. But that's no problem. It works brilliantly with zucchini, celery, and carrots. Using the vegetable holder as a guide rather than a rigid clamp works perfectly.

Was that a bad purchase?
Full of excitement and eager to surprise my wife, I bought this appliance. Unpacking, plugging it in, and getting started was a breeze. First problem: we had the wrong carrots (unfortunately, they were naturally grown, so crooked and misshapen). So, what do we learn? Only use straight carrots, as advertised. Where do those even grow?! But the pusher for the vertical feed tube for spiralizing should take care of it, right? Wrong. Unfortunately, the four guides at the bottom don't hold the carrots, fruit, or similar items you're spiralizing. They fall in before they're ready, and it's a hassle to start all over again: removing the feed tube, taking out the vegetables, etc., and starting the process again, hoping it works this time. Seriously, WMF, if you can't come up with anything better and don't improve the pusher, I can understand the frustration of some customers. I, for one, am returning the appliance.

WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY
thought, "Wow, WMF, great!" Yeah, right... Thinner carrots don't work at all because they fall off and just wobble around. Thicker ones often fall off because the holding cross on the pusher is too short. It takes a lot of effort with firm vegetables. Slow wobbling... Parsnips tear more than they spiralize. The long end is left behind. It works well with zucchini, but that's it. It doesn't deserve the WMF name; I'm totally disappointed. My complaint was handled with standard advice on how to use it. Thanks, I've been cooking for 35 years. I've tried everything five times; I'm done.

Hands off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A complete waste of money!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can't cut smaller vegetables with it. The vegetables always fall off. I called WMF; they're aware that customers are having problems, but they're not doing anything to fix it. Their advice is to only buy very large carrots. They also refused a return as a gesture of goodwill, even though (as I was told) many customers have already complained. I suggested they make a better pusher with a good holder and exchange the old one for a new one at a reasonable price. No interest. I own many products from this company, but this is the last time. Never again WMF.
