WMF MASTER WATER KETTLE

The kettle is fantastic! For several months I'd been looking for a decent kettle with little to no microplastics. Our old kettle finally gave up the ghost after 15 years, and I needed a replacement quickly. The price initially put me off a bit, but with the current Christmas discount, I treated myself. Best decision ever! The functions and temperature settings are very precise and perfect for our family.

The kettle is intuitive to use, looks fantastic, and is very well made. As a passionate tea drinker, the precisely adjustable water temperature was very important to me. Measurements with a precision thermometer confirmed that the set temperatures are reached exactly. The keep-warm function is the icing on the cake. Boiling water is really fast and relatively quiet. The outside of the kettle only heats up slightly and can be handled safely at all times. The price is quite high, but it's just about justified by the features, the excellent design, and the WMF brand. In my case, a discount helped to ease the price somewhat. I'm very happy with this kettle and therefore give it a perfect score.

This kettle lives up to its promises! It's made of stainless steel on the inside and is double-walled, making it very pleasant to the touch on the outside, remaining only lukewarm at most. The water boils quickly and it's also quiet – something I noticed immediately. The handle is ergonomic and comfortable to hold. It's intuitive to use and has a nicely illuminated display, allowing you to visually monitor the temperature rise and easily adjust it to a lower temperature. A signal sounds when the water is ready. The water flows smoothly from the spout, without any gush or splashing. This took a little getting used to at first, but now I really like it; for example, I can pour the water precisely into a cup. The exterior is also very attractive, showing no fingerprints, and the black glass lid looks very high-quality. The price is considerable, so keep an eye out for discounts, which can reduce the price by up to 30%. Even so, the price is still high for a kettle, but it's worth every penny. I enjoy using this perfect kettle every single day :-)

In short: good (after a few days of use). Now for the "but"... The maximum capacity of 1.2 liters is (very) small. Furthermore, the kettle takes a comparatively long time to heat 1.2 liters of water. What I really (!!) like, however, is that the kettle is insulated. You (I) don't burn yourself on the casing when you (I) need to reach things behind it. The (switchable) keep-warm function is also worth mentioning, as is the automatic shut-off if the boiling process isn't started. After almost three weeks of use, I haven't noticed anything else.

Cons: 1. The temperature knob is unacceptable for this price range: wobbly, feels like the cheapest plastic. 2. It's difficult to connect to the power station. After a few days, I'm still having trouble with it. Pros: 1. Good build quality, well, it shouldn't be any different for the price. 2. It's relatively quiet. Suggestion for improvement: If you're charging five times the price for something "Made in China," then you need to offer something special. For example, a water level indicator without a plastic window, implemented with a scale.

A very attractive combination of Cromargan and glass. Easy temperature setting, rapid heating. The dual opening angle also makes it easy to clean.
