Massive, but top-notch device!
This grill isn't exactly lightweight! But it's fantastic! The workmanship is superb! Everything is clearly explained in the instruction manual. We mainly use it for paninis, crogues, quesadillas, etc. We're thrilled!

We are all very satisfied; it's easy to use, easy and quick to clean, and allows for the rapid preparation of fish, meat, and toast.

Recommended contact grill
chose this contact grill; it was also the test winner for steaks, the only grill that could maintain a consistent temperature. I grilled 300-400g steaks to a perfect medium. Even homemade burger patties grilled perfectly. The grease drip tray is a great feature, which some competitors lack. Now for some negative points: it would be nice if the grill plates were dishwasher safe. The weight of the appliance is unfortunately a bit high (which, however, speaks to its quality). It would also be nice if there were a remaining time display for preheating and cooking. I also noticed that the browning of steaks isn't quite perfect, although the taste is fine. I've already recommended the grill to others, and this user is also satisfied.

Unfortunately disappointing
I've had to order this contact grill twice now. The first one was defective, and the replacement was also defective. Unfortunately, this is not satisfactory. WMF's quality expectations have not been met.
