I prepared the ice cream according to the recipe and then filled the ice cream maker. After 30 minutes, the "ice cream" was still liquid. I then removed the cold mixture, put the pot back in the freezer for another 12 hours, and tried again. The result wasn't much better. I'm going to exchange the machine.

Wow - so good!
Honestly?! Incredibly good. I didn't expect such high-quality results. The machine makes perfect ice cream for home use. After a short familiarization period and a quick search for a recipe, we can easily make ice cream twice a day with the included accessories, and it's perfect in terms of consistency, quality, and quantity.

Unfortunately, a bad purchase.
I made the ice cream according to a recipe from the instruction manual. Unfortunately, it was far too frozen, and the fact that the stirring paddle has to remain stuck in the ice cream makes it very difficult to remove from the container. Perhaps it will be better on the umpteenth attempt, but at the moment I cannot recommend it.

Unbeatable for the price, the ice cream maker does what it's supposed to, and if you stick to the recipes and don't make it too runny, everything works out.

I'm a little disappointed with the ice cream maker's capacity. I suppose I should have read the description more carefully. MINI says it all. The container only holds 300 ml. That's just barely enough for one serving. For that amount of time, the whole preparation is a bit too much for me. The quality, of course, is superb, as usual with WMF.

Great machines, made using very old production techniques. Easy to use and the ice cream is delicious. Ideal for two people, but too small for us (6 people in a household, including 2 hungry grandchildren). Thank you very much, best regards, Volker

Recipes insufficient
Unfortunately, the recipes are completely useless. You buy an ice cream maker and then don't know how to use it. The recipes call for exotic ingredients. Milk seems to be frowned upon. I'm disappointed that you can't even make normal ice cream with this machine.

Making ice cream with this machine is easy and it tastes delicious. The container could be a bit bigger; the ice cream only makes about two large servings.

It could be better
The appliance is very easy to use, and the instructions even include a few recipes. However, I find that the container, which has to be frozen (and takes up a lot of storage space), gets too cold. This causes the mixture to harden very quickly and it doesn't mix as well. Removing the finished product becomes a challenge, as the stirring element usually gets stuck, and the frozen layer is very difficult to scrape out. The included tablespoon is okay, but I use regular spoons for portioning instead. The maximum capacity is enough for 2-3 servings.
