Perfect for small groups!
Cooling containers can always be kept in the freezer. This way you can quickly have 4-6 scoops of ice cream in about 15 minutes.

Beautiful design, poor functionality
Despite following the instructions exactly, the liquid froze solid around the sides and bottom after only 2-3 minutes of stirring, making further stirring impossible. I expected more from a kitchen appliance that's been on the market for a while and must have overcome some initial teething problems, especially from a brand like WMF.

This ice cream maker is small, compact, and well-suited for single households or for a quick ice cream treat. The finished ice cream yields only about 300ml. However, the container should ideally always be kept pre-chilled in the freezer; otherwise, the ice cream making process takes too long. For families or those who enjoy large quantities of ice cream, an ice cream maker with a compressor is more practical.

It's true, it's quiet and quick. But it's not really ice cream. There's a hard crust on the bottom, the top is like a milkshake, and you always need extra freezer space for the container. For a second batch or a third person, you need a second cooling container, which takes up even less freezer space. The portion size is quite small for two people. A great idea, but unfortunately not yet fully developed.
