Plastic breakage
After the first few uses, the plastic connection between the lid and the stirring attachment began to break off. This poses a health risk. The lid and stirring attachment can no longer be connected, meaning the appliance is unusable.

Perfect!
absolutely disagree with all the bad reviews here. I love my little ice cream maker. I previously had a large one from a discount store and was annoyed that it always made too much ice cream and the container took up so much space in the freezer. With the small WMF one, I always have a container in the freezer, so I can make ice cream spontaneously whenever I want. It's also technically flawless. I haven't had a single ice cream that didn't turn out well. I would give it even more stars if I could! *****

Stirrer holder in lid broken off
After a maximum of 10 uses, the plastic holder for the stirring plastic part in the lid broke - despite improper use according to instructions.

The bracket in the lid broke quickly.
After only six months of use, the plastic holder for the mixing attachment broke. The price-performance ratio is poor. I do not recommend this product.

For two people, this small machine is of course excellent. I'm less impressed that the churned ice cream freezes to the sides of the container quickly, and it's not easy to empty it completely. What's truly annoying is that a part broke off the dasher after only about 15 uses. I was assured today over the phone that a replacement dasher would be delivered quickly and without any problems.

Super easy and fast
received the ice cream maker as a gift and I'm absolutely thrilled! It's so quick and easy. I think the 300ml capacity is fantastic – it's just right for two people with a sweet tooth or as a small dessert for four. You can easily adapt any recipe – whether from books or the internet – (halving usually works quite well) or get creative with the basic recipe. That's why I don't understand the criticism in some reviews. When I buy a pot, I don't expect a cookbook to come with it, do I? A little independent thought shouldn't be a problem :) I think it's great to finally be able to make ice cream quickly and easily according to my (sometimes slightly crazy) ideas! Fantastic! :)

It only lasted one season
Initially, my family and I were thrilled – unfortunately, the stirring attachment broke after about 10 uses. Replacement parts were unavailable.

I bought this machine because I found many positive reviews here. I had a terrible experience. A layer of ice built up around the edge of the container, so after a short time it stopped rotating. The ice inside was still liquid. I tried leaving it in the container, thinking it would freeze a bit more. After that, I couldn't get anything out of the container. I'm not satisfied with the result. I returned the ice cream maker – what a shame.

too few recipes
Yes, I'm also missing the simplest recipes like chocolate and vanilla ice cream. Since it only makes a small amount of ice cream, other recipes are difficult to adjust. I'm also considering returning the machine.
