Extremely loud and spills water
I find the design and function of the kettle to be flawless. However, this kettle has defects that I cannot accept at this price point: - After one month, the thing started whistling deafeningly - Water is regularly spilled when pouring.

Actually good, but difficult to clean.
The kettle functions well and looks good. Of course, a glass kettle can get dirty faster and needs to be cleaned more often, and this is precisely what makes it so difficult to clean. The interior is hard to access and uncomfortable due to the rim that supports the infuser, as the rim is made of thin sheet metal with cutouts, and the plastic parts of the hinge can also be painful. This is in stark contrast to the tea-brewing function, which, despite being cleaned immediately afterward, leaves behind permanent tea stains after only three uses. Cleaning ergonomics = 0 points.

Kettle vario 1 l
I have the kettle and I'm happy with it so far. But today I took out the limescale filter. It came out easily, but I can't get it back in. The instruction manual only has a picture, and that doesn't help. It should be described more clearly, especially since the kettle isn't exactly cheap. Others have also mentioned how fiddly it is. Now I'll have to ask at the WMF shop next time I use it. :-(

Hi! In use since March 2019, about 3-5 times a day with varying amounts of water. It sits on my desk and just sits there, boiling away. No problems, I clean it with descaler about once a month. The only downside is that the limescale filter is a bit of a pain to re-insert by hand. That's why I'm only giving it 4 stars.

Doesn't work
bought the kettle at an outlet center and when I got home I discovered it didn't work. Since I couldn't go back to the center, I went to a WMF store in my city. There, they explained that the outlet center sells B-stock and they couldn't exchange the appliance unless I went back to where I bought it. After some negotiation, they sent the kettle in for repair, which will take three weeks. I can only warn everyone against shopping there, as the outlet center sells inferior goods. Zero stars.

Corroded stainless steel top ring frame
am disappointed to buy this Vario kettle. Within 4 months of usage, I spotted the top ring frame was corroded. I hope the sales of this vario kettle should temporarily stop until a better quality ring frame is replaced to prevent corrosion. I believe it was corroded due to the fact that the material was not a stainless steel but an iron material plated or chrome to look like stainless steel.... It is unbelievable that the material can be corroded at such a short period of time. If I continue to use it will get corroded more in time to come. Please improve its quality as the price tag of this Vario kettle didn't come cheap The size of the keetle was just nice for small family. But I want to emphasize that quality safety comes first as it is a product that we are using it for consumption.

Works perfectly, simply and quickly. In use for a month. Downside: The glass cracked while cleaning the inside with a small cleaning brush and there's no replacement part available.
