It does everything it's supposed to.

Ordered a new kettle two weeks later.
The kettle is far too loud and takes a very long time to boil water. After two weeks, I sold it for €20 and bought a cheap, no-name kettle which is excellent. WMF isn't what it used to be, unfortunately. I've noticed this with several of their products. The prices are no longer justified. What a shame...

The kettle is the perfect size and boils the water very quickly.

Very elegant design. Excellent handling. I highly recommend this kettle.

The workmanship isn't very good.
It arrived scratched. The base is poorly made (thin plastic) and the kettle wobbles on it. It's not stable. Boiling time is normal. So unfortunately, it's no better than one from a discount store for less money.
