The kettle is of very good quality and is also relatively heavy, which speaks to its quality. The spout is a bit small, so you have to empty the contents slowly.

I searched for a long time for a small kettle with a lid that opens wide enough. This kettle fits the bill, making it easy to fill with water using a container. Furthermore, the kettle is made of high-quality materials and is very stylish. The purchase and delivery process was seamless.

I bought it because of its elegant design, size, and my previous positive experiences with WMF products. I still find the kettle aesthetically pleasing (after two years), but it does have some flaws. Condensation leaks from the lid area and runs onto the power cord. The kettle itself isn't well insulated! I still think it looks great, but it does have a few quirks.

After extensive research on the market for kettles, I decided on this WMF model. So far, I'm very satisfied and look forward to using it every time! I can't confirm the defects described in some of the reviews here. Everything works as it should. The basic idea of the mini series is really great if you have limited space or live alone. Regarding the leaks mentioned in other reviews, I'll keep a close eye on that. After three months of use, everything is still fine. And as for the mentioned risk of scalding, well – of course, a kettle gets boiling hot, so you should be careful with the lid open! I definitely recommend it. (I hope I'll still feel the same way in 8-10 years. A kettle like this has to last that long, otherwise, there's no point in buying a WMF brand product.)

The kettle is the perfect size for a one- or two-person household. We liked that only the measuring scale inside is made of plastic, while the rest is stainless steel. It was only used occasionally in winter for tea, yet after about two years, it's leaking. Water is leaking from the connection between the lid and the body, a plastic ring on which the lid sits, so that the electrical contact point is partially submerged. We quickly discovered the cause: the lid is held in place with plastic clips, all of which have come loose, creating a gap through which condensation forming on the lid can now escape. The clips can be reattached, but they come loose again when the kettle heats up. I would say it's a design flaw.

Poor quality. The WMF kettle broke down after only 2 years and 4 months. No customer service whatsoever! I might as well have bought a cheap one from a discount store. Not recommended!

now own four WMF kettles, all from the higher price ranges. It was important to me to have the right model for different occasions. In the kitchen, I have one with selectable temperatures (for specific types of tea), and this mini one for a quick cup of tea. As mentioned, I've noticed that you can burn your fingers when opening the lid after boiling! Is that really necessary at this price point? I'm also not thrilled that all the kettles work with the lid open. With harder water, limescale deposits form on the outer rim that are difficult to remove. Even soaking them with a limescale remover didn't help. Of course, there are positive aspects too! The entire WMF series is made of high-quality Cromargan® and has a rather attractive design. The water heats up incredibly quickly. In the bathroom, I use one of my two mini kettles for quickly heating my teeth. By the time the water heater delivers hot water, the kettle is already hot. Wiping the devices with a microfiber cloth dampened with soapy water leaves them sparkling like new! However, you shouldn't fill the water beyond the fill line, otherwise it will get "wet feet"! Overall, I would definitely recommend this device. It's perfect for small amounts of water and incredibly fast! However, the safety features definitely need improvement! I don't find it funny that the hot water scalds your fingers when you open the lid! Otherwise, all the devices are almost intuitive to use! However, reading the instruction manual is advisable!

I've read countless reviews of the Mini, Lono, etc. series. Here's the first reviewer who writes – read the instructions – then it works. What bothered me far more is that these are certainly not users who would buy the cheapest model from some "brand?!", yet what can't they do? Write and use proper German – shameful.

bought this today at the electronics store, as I was looking for a small kettle for a quick cup of tea. Of course, I was also drawn in by the design; the kettle really does look great. However, I burned my fingers on the very first use because hot water dripped out the back from the open lid. This isn't a convincing design in terms of safety. Insulating the housing would also have been a good idea, as the kettle gets extremely hot. At this price point, I would have expected a more thoughtful design.
