I can highly recommend it.

The kettle is another excellent WMF purchase. It has a stylish design and heats water very quickly.

Everything's great. A stylish product with plenty of power. It heats up a large amount of water quickly.

So far everything is okay, we are satisfied.

Unfortunately, I discovered a small crack in the glass of the kettle when I unpacked it. It's probably a manufacturing defect and happened due to carelessness during packaging. I'm keeping it anyway.

bought this kettle because of its design and the brand. It broke on the very first day. The kettle stops automatically before the water is hot, so it has to be restarted every single time. I sent it back and ordered another one. The second one had the same problem. This one interrupts the process about four times before the water boils. It's going back again. Now I've bought a different brand. It's a shame, because it's very stylish.

can't really agree with the other reviews... My kettle has served me very well for years. It heats the water quickly and looks really good in the kitchen without taking up much space. Of course, my kettle eventually showed signs of wear and tear. So I packed it up and took it to the WMF store. And there I experienced just how incredibly important expertise is: The lady in the shop not only took the kettle from me, but also listened to my explanation of the problem, then simply took it, filled it with water, and plugged it in. Now for the little miracle: she even tried a base they had in the store, and: the kettle works again! You can actually buy a new base! So, for the price of a base, I was able to continue using my own kettle! This not only saved me money, but also saved the environment from having to produce a new one! I'm absolutely thrilled. With the money I saved, I fulfilled a long-held wish: I bought a milk frother/hot chocolate maker from the same Lono product line. I'm really looking forward to it! Folks, once again: go to specialist shops! Go in person! It's worth it!!! At least the lady (and her team) here in Dortmund are customer-oriented, helpful, and competent!

Less than a year later, the lid fell into the pot. The holders are made of plastic and apparently become brittle due to the heat. I filed a complaint deep within the WMF website. I received a message stating that the complaint was being processed and that I should refrain from further inquiries. That was it; no one contacted me again. Poor product and zero customer service.

Visually, the device makes a solid and high-quality impression. The steel and glass appear robust. But as soon as the lid swings open for the first time, and even more so when you use the flimsy power switch, it becomes clear: the chance of this plastic monstrosity surviving the warranty period is probably 50/50.
