lid fell off my car, and a small plastic connector that joins the handle to the lid broke off. Probably a penny part! The rest of the lid was still intact. My request for this small part was denied. I was told I should just buy a new lid for €34.99. At least I received a 30% credit. This is what you'd call a rip-off, and it shows a complete lack of environmental awareness. The rest is going straight in the bin. This replacement part would have only cost 10 grams. Unworthy of a German company!

Of particular note are the 3 ventilation openings, which provide significant braking to prevent boil-over.

Top quality, but very expensive
The lid is a high-quality glass lid with a handle that, thanks to the integrated silicone seal (red), is designed to stay cool and features three holes for steam to escape. The lid's chrome finish and embossed WMF logo (on the handle) give it a premium look and feel, making a very good impression overall. In practical testing, the lid lived up to all its promises; only the price seems relatively high for such a small glass lid. Summary: Positive - Striking appearance - Cool+ technology prevents the handle from getting hot - Three holes for steam Negative - Price
