The spice mill has a beautiful and ergonomic design with its mix of metal and thick, wood-look plastic. Even though the grind setting is slightly recessed, the mill is easy to adjust. It works well and the grind is nice and consistent. I like it a lot.

At first glance, the mill looks high-quality and elegant with its black wood and stainless steel. Initially, I was concerned that the stainless steel part of the housing would quickly become covered in fingerprints, but there weren't any! For me, the true value lies within the mill: a well-tuned ceramic grinding mechanism, harder than metal, is built into the upper part of the mill. This prevents crumbling when you set it down, keeping the surface clean. The lid, which protects the aroma of the contents, is also a plus. The mill fits comfortably in the hand, and the lid for filling the spices is easy to open and close. I recently used the mill with mixed peppercorns, and I also tried it previously with a spice blend of caraway, coriander, and fennel. The available grind settings are sufficient for me; I don't need 15 different settings. What's more important to me is that the adjustment is simple, that the grinding mechanism runs smoothly, that the ingredients are ground evenly, and that the surfaces of the housing are easy to clean. This mill meets my requirements perfectly, and I wholeheartedly recommend it. I'm even considering buying another one.
