The spice mill works flawlessly and is well-suited for a wide variety of spices; the grind is infinitely adjustable. Personally, I didn't think the small magnetic lid was necessary (it'll probably be the first thing to get lost).

I chose this WMF mill and I'm absolutely thrilled with it. I'm currently using it for pepper. The brushed stainless steel design is incredibly timeless and elegant. It looks high-quality and is very well made. I'm particularly impressed with the feel of it: the mill sits comfortably and securely in the hand while grinding. The heart of the mill, however, is the ceramic grinding mechanism. It operates with absolute consistency and is infinitely adjustable, allowing me to perfectly measure the pepper, from powder-fine to coarsely ground, depending on the dish. You can feel the quality with every turn, and unlike many plastic grinders, this one is extremely durable and robust. It's not only a practical helper while cooking, but its minimalist design also makes it a stunning addition to any dining table.

This spice mill has truly impressed me. Thanks to its robust ceramic grinding mechanism, it grinds pepper or herbs exactly to my liking, depending on the desired grind. Refilling it is very straightforward, and cleaning the mill is just as easy. The design is outstanding and makes a wonderful, elegant table decoration. My only complaint is that it shows fingerprints easily, but these are quickly wiped away.
