Poor quality!
Unfortunately, WMF's product quality is very poor. The lids are completely off-center, which looks and feels unsightly. Both mills appear very cheap at first glance. However, since the grinding result was good, I kept them. Unfortunately, after a year, the grinding mechanism of the pepper mill broke out of its cheap plastic holder. Customer service responded completely. The 10-year warranty only covers the grinding mechanism, not the flimsy holder!

Looks good on the outside, but it's a mess on the inside.
From the outside, it has a great design – unfortunately, as many other reviews have already noted, there's a lot of plastic used inside – especially the parts above the grinding mechanism, which break very often – mine broke twice in a row – and despite my complaint, customer service didn't respond. The staff in the store, however, were friendly. Nevertheless, plastic shouldn't be used in grinders from a brand like WMF... cost-cutting measures inevitably lead to quality issues... I won't be buying anything from them again!

Plastic broken
Unfortunately, my grinder also broke after about 1.5 years... unacceptable for this price.

Visually very appealing, but poor workmanship.
As the title suggests, the mills are very attractive, and the grinding result is satisfactory. Unfortunately, the first grinding mechanism in the first set I purchased broke after only about 1.5 years. Since I liked the mills so much, I bought the same set again. Unfortunately, the same defect occurred again. Therefore, I absolutely cannot recommend them, especially since I've read in other reviews that these defects apparently aren't unique to me.

Looks like it was bought for 2 euros at the Euroshop.
It's perfectly clear that wood is a natural product and variations in material and precision can occur. But what WMF delivered here is absolutely appalling: On both mills, the lids are so off-center on the upper part that they simply look incredibly cheap. There's a very noticeable misalignment of several millimeters! I wouldn't mind such an appearance for 2 euros at a discount store, Tedi, or Woolworth. But for 40-70 euros, just because the WMF logo is etched on it – no thanks! I can't comment on the functionality, as both mills were returned immediately. For this price, I'm not going to put such shoddy workmanship on my shelf! Some people might even be embarrassed by it.

Plastic broken
Unfortunately, the plastic part in the grinding mechanism of one of the mills broke after 1.5 years of normal use... Very annoying for the price!
