You might as well buy a cheap product instead. Never again WMF. Absolutely no customer service in Dresden, lids fill with water, pot handles get hot, water leaks from the bottom of the pot. Totally disappointing.

Unfortunately, every pot has internal damage, specifically at the points where the handles were stamped on the outside. Either a dent has pressed through or the top layer is damaged. I am very disappointed and cannot understand why WMF would jeopardize its good reputation with such obvious Chinese-made products. I returned the pot set immediately.

have almost exclusively WMF products in my kitchen and have never had any problems. But what happened with these pots is unbelievable. Here's my story: I bought the pots for my daughter. After washing them twice in the dishwasher, they developed rust spots on the inside, bottom, and lid. I contacted customer service by email and sent pictures. 14 days passed = no response. I followed up: still no response. After three weeks, I called the service hotline and after about 25 minutes, I actually got a very nice woman on the phone. Her advice was: the pots should be washed by hand, and if using a dishwasher, then without rinse aid. But the pots are dishwasher safe! I was told to pre-treat them (a mixture of vinegar and oil) and then wash them again in the dishwasher, again without rinse aid. What a hassle! I did as instructed, and the result: of course, no change. I wrote again and sent several more pictures. 10 days passed = no response, and I'm back on hold. Once again, a nice lady offered to have the pots inspected by the workshop, and the return shipping label was promptly sent by email. Replacement pots aren't available, and it can take up to 2-3 weeks. I had to give my daughter two of my pots so she could manage. After a week, I actually received an email stating that the process was complete and asking me to rate the customer service. More waiting on hold, and this time a nice gentleman answered. When I inquired about the status of the pots, I was told that the return inspection was underway and the workshop would contact me. They currently have a backlog of 2-3 weeks. I should be patient. Neither he nor I can check with them. Extreme frustration, and I'm simply waiting to see what happens in the next few weeks.

I bought this cookware set for my son. It will certainly last for many years. And my boy really does cook. And he's very good at it.
