Embarrassing gift for a friend
I gave the burger press as a gift. Unfortunately, I found out that it broke on only the second use. The handle snapped off. How embarrassing! She gave it back to me and suggested I try using it without the handle.

Unfortunately, it's junk due to the workmanship, as described in the comments; if the handle hadn't broken, it would have been a great feature.

Edelschrott Burger Presse
The handle broke after only the second use. After contacting customer service, I was assured that a replacement had already been sent. I'm still waiting for it. Conclusion: this is the last WMF product I'll ever order. I'll only buy from other manufacturers from now on. It's incredibly frustrating!
