Ice cream production and quantity are sufficient for 2 people. A preparation time of 12-24 hours in the freezer is enough to make great ice cream, cool smoothies, or frozen yogurt in just 20 minutes. The manufacturer's recommended quantity of 300 ml should be followed for optimal results. Cleaning is hygienic and easy. The cooling effect is excellent. A spare container is included for a quick ice cream treat or for a spontaneous treat, a second serving, or for guests – I have three in my collection and one has a permanent spot in my freezer.

Super delicious, super easy and super quick
The cooler stays cool for a long time. The lid fits well. It's really fun to make your own ice cream and try out lots of delicious variations.

Making ice cream is super easy!
Unfortunately, I dropped the original cooling container, so I bought a replacement. I haven't used the ice cream maker for over a year now and I'm surprised how easy it is to make my own ice cream. The ice cream divider often stops working just before it's finished, probably because the ice cream gets too hard. But so far, it's always turned out delicious.

The lid doesn't close properly.
Unfortunately, the lid doesn't stay securely on the container in the freezer. You might as well just pour the ice directly into the freezer! What was WMF thinking?

The lid won't stay on.
The freezer container itself does what it's supposed to. However, it's annoying that the lid doesn't fit properly and therefore doesn't stay on. That's definitely NOT what I would expect from WMF... As I've since learned, this wasn't the original design, but they are looking into an adjustment (that would be great!).
