Unfortunately, it doesn't fit all wine bottles.
I tested the stopper on a smooth bottle (previously corked) and on a wine bottle with a screw cap. Unfortunately, it didn't fit either of them; it just sat loosely on top.

Do not check (all) bottles with screw caps
I tried three different bottles with screw threads. Unfortunately, it doesn't close properly; it just sits loosely on top. It works perfectly on bottles with cork stoppers.
