Very stylish!
Unfortunately, I too have had the experience with the lid not closing properly! It keeps popping back up. The carafe's design is great! But the lid problem is a very disappointing result for this brand and price.

The glass of the carafe is very thin, the lid doesn't stay on, and customer service couldn't help. Sent it back immediately.

Great gift idea! I already have the 1-liter one myself, and now I've ordered the 1.5-liter one for myself and a friend! I'm thrilled! It fits perfectly in the refrigerator door! It's a fantastic carafe for infused water with fruit and herbs, as the leaves get caught in the strainer and the lid closes very easily, making it great for outdoor use too, since no wasps or insects can get in! I love giving it as a gift!

Not recommended
The carafe is less than a year old and the lid keeps flying off. I would definitely advise against buying it.
