Basic water carafe 1.5l
Great gift idea! I already have the 1-liter one myself, and now I've ordered the 1.5-liter one for myself and a friend! I'm thrilled! It fits perfectly in the refrigerator door! It's a fantastic carafe for infused water with fruit and herbs, as the leaves get caught in the strainer and the lid closes very easily, making it great for outdoor use too, since no wasps or insects can get in! I love giving it as a gift!

The carafe looks very elegant. Unfortunately, the lid kept falling off. It wouldn't close properly. Sadly, it was returned immediately.

The carafe is less than a year old and the lid keeps flying off. I would definitely advise against buying it.

Stylish, but the lid doesn't close.
A very beautiful and stylish carafe with a great capacity, hence the two stars. Unfortunately, the lid doesn't close properly; it keeps popping up because the silicone slats are too wide. As a result, the carafe doesn't seal, and a sealing ring is always sticking out. This not only looks unsightly, but without holding it in place, the lid would constantly fall off while pouring. A real shame for the price and this brand!

Nice carafe, but
Unfortunately, there's no precise definition of what constitutes a standard refrigerator. We own the Bosch Kil82sd30, and unfortunately, the carafe doesn't fit in the door. The only solution is to place the glass shelves on the top and bottom racks so it fits without the lid. Otherwise, the carafe is fantastic—superbly crafted, with a decent weight, but not too heavy for so much glass. We also love the opening; occasionally, a little fruit pulp slips into the glass, but that's perfectly fine. Overall, we highly recommend it, but you should definitely check the carafe's dimensions.

Replacement round screw black ball of the lid
The small black screw ball of the lid got loose and fell off. Is it possible to replace it? How do we order it?

The lid won't lift!
The lid doesn't fit securely on the carafe. It keeps coming loose by a few millimeters. While it otherwise functions perfectly and the lid doesn't slip off completely when pouring, it simply looks unsightly and doesn't meet my expectations of a WMF product.

Not dishwasher safe
The silicone warped in the dishwasher. I've contacted WMF customer service and hope they will be accommodating. I'll keep you updated on how things develop.
