WMF Perfection 880L Fully Automatic Coffee Machine

It's nitpicking, really; it's missing a few things compared to the 900 model we had before. There's no hot steam glass preheating, the lid isn't heated, and the machine isn't as easy to maintain – meaning it can't be completely disassembled in just a few steps. The coffee brewing and taste are fantastic. Whether it's worth the money remains to be seen with long-term use.

bought the Perfection 880 L a few weeks ago and am very happy with it so far. All the preset coffees taste delicious. What I do miss is the ability to adjust the coffee strength, not the amount of water. On the other hand, this is also a good thing, as it ensures a consistent coffee regardless of the size of the cup. I also wish the machine allowed me to reduce the amount of milk; currently, you can only adjust the amount of foam, the milk content remains the same. What I'm missing in the manual is a list of all the coffee varieties with information about what each one contains, such as its strength (how many beans are ground), the amount of milk used, and how the machine prepares it. Nevertheless, I'm very satisfied with the machine, as it makes the best coffee for me.

Makes very good coffee, many settings options. The self-cleaning function is a plus. The water filter needs to be changed frequently, which is a drawback. Otherwise perfect.

The machine not only looks amazing, but the coffee and coffee specialties taste absolutely perfect and appeal to all the senses!

Everything's great!!! The only problem is the lack of water filters…

I'm extremely happy with the WMF machine – it looks fantastic, is super easy to use thanks to the large display, and most importantly – it makes delicious coffee! I hope it stays that way, but so far I'm super happy!!

We've had the fully automatic coffee machine for half a week now. It looks great and is incredibly easy to use. Unfortunately, water collects under the machine every day. Customer support responded quickly, and the machine is now being sent in for repair. At this price, I really hadn't expected this kind of problem. Perhaps it's just a defective unit and I was simply unlucky, but based on my experience, I unfortunately cannot recommend it.

In six months, I switched from a top-of-the-line Jura Z10 to a Siemens EQ7 with lots of bells and whistles, and then to this machine. I bought it from the WMF store, though. I considered deducting a star because of the high price, but decided against it because: - The machine's design is unbeatable. - It makes better coffee than the Jura, and Siemens is even better. - It's incredibly user-friendly and easy to operate. - The touchscreen has a great feel; with the Jura, you could accidentally press a coffee button while swiping. - The noise level during grinding and brewing is very pleasant (not very loud). - The milk froth is excellent, comparable to Jura. - The operating concept, where everything can be emptied from the front (grounds container) and the water tank can also be filled from the front, is brilliantly designed. - The ambient lighting is chic and stylish. I agree with the previous reviewer; it would be great even when the machine is off. - The cleaning process is well thought out, although it takes a bit of time (cleaning the milk spout), but it's necessary for hygiene reasons. - No regular maintenance is required like with Jura machines, since the brewing unit is permanently installed. - It doesn't get dirty, as it's self-cleaning; you'll notice that some powder residue always collects in the bottom tray. - Everything is neatly assembled, so you don't have to constantly wipe the inside of the machine with a cloth like with Jura machines, only to find it full of powder residue. - I won't even bother comparing it to Siemens; it's in a different league. Conclusion: A great product so far, even if the price is steep, but it's WMF and made in France. I don't understand the previous reviewer's complaint about the milk container being too large, since you don't have to fill it completely. Wi-Fi and similar gimmicks are useless on a fully automatic machine since you have to put a cup underneath anyway, which is why my old Siemens machine kept opening up.
