Not for beginners
For the sale price, I thought I couldn't go too wrong and decided to give the stainless steel wok a try. However, in my opinion, this wok isn't suitable for a regular stovetop. It doesn't get very hot, except, of course, on the bottom, where everything burns or scorches very quickly. There was also immediate discoloration on the bottom, both inside and out. Apparently (according to WMF), this was because I overheated the wok. The discoloration couldn't be removed with ordinary cleaning agents. You'd need an open fire or a stove, like the ones used in Asia, with a recess into which the wok sits. So, it's better to spend a little more money and buy a cast iron wok. I'm giving WMF an extra star for taking the wok back despite the signs of use. Thank you for that.

Great damper
I finally got a long-awaited purchase. The wide steamer is ideal when cooking or baking large quantities. And the weight is perfect compared to a cast iron wok. A very satisfied customer.

Very good wok
I don't understand why others have so many problems with this wok; I've had it for over a year and it's fantastic! Nothing has burned on me so far, and it's easy to clean. It's really practical that it's so big, you don't have to worry about everything fitting in, and I love the steamer insert! Highly recommended!

Expensive junk
We love Asian food, so we bought a decent, albeit expensive, wok for our induction cooktop. Everything we cooked in this wok stuck to the bottom. Our initial excitement turned into utter frustration. We used it twice, and now it's sitting in the basement. I wouldn't recommend this wok to anyone! We ended up buying a new one from Silit.
