Not the quality one is used to from WMF.
The coating on the grill surfaces is defective after only a little use.

Inferior, non-WMF quality
After only five uses, the coating is already peeling off. The plates are very easy to adjust. But that's no use if you have to replace the plates after just a few uses. WMF usually produces higher-quality products.

Top Grill
I've been using this grill for two summers now and use it quite often. I haven't experienced the problems other buyers have reported. The grill surface is easiest to clean while still warm, and the coating is still in excellent condition after two years. The ability to control the temperature of the two grilling surfaces separately is particularly practical. This grill doesn't just look good, it simply performs well.

Great grill
We bought it at MediaMarkt and are completely satisfied. So far, it grills perfectly, and we've already washed the plates several times in the dishwasher. We would definitely buy it again.

The non-stick coating is peeling off; poor quality.
The Teflon-coated grill plates started peeling off after only a few uses. Since grilling is infrequent, the warranty had unfortunately expired. Therefore, the grill can no longer be used for health reasons. The electrical contacts bend very easily when inserting the grill. Poor quality; I expected better from WMF! Apparently, others have had the same experience.

Inferior grill
Even stainless steel packaging is useless; the grill plates come loose from their locking mechanisms as if by magic while grilling. The return springs are so strong that the locking feet twist when heated, forcing you to abandon your barbecue plans and cook in a frying pan. WMF is more expensive than other brands and is now of lower quality than its cheaper competitors.

Not sustainable
We had to return the grill several times and ultimately sent it back completely. Cheap coating, faulty construction! Not recommended!

A great grill from WMF
This isn't just a visually stunning product; grilling with it is incredibly fun. The food tastes absolutely delicious. It doesn't matter whether you're grilling sausages, meat, or vegetables. My husband has always been a staunch advocate of charcoal grills, but he really enjoys the food with this one too. We bought the grill with the cart. The only thing I would have liked is a longer power cord. But I wouldn't deduct a star for that!

Grill surface defective
We bought the grill with great confidence because of the WMF brand name and always used and cleaned it properly. Despite this, the coated (Teflon) grill surfaces are peeling off. The grill is now a health hazard if we continue to use it. The warranty expired two days ago. No return or goodwill gesture was offered! We had expected much less durability and quality. What a shame, WMF. This is no way to treat customers. We cannot recommend this product.

Unfortunately broken
We grilled eight times with friends. The first few pieces were done, and then it stopped. The appliance broke. It wasn't getting any power. The annoying thing is, some friends had bought the same appliance because we were happy with it; it's just too bad it happened at a summer party.
