The waffle iron is great!
The waffle iron is great; it doesn't get hot on the outside and has an LED indicator that shows when the waffle is ready. Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside – simply delicious.

Better than expected
We've all been there: craving a fresh waffle and grabbing that cheap waffle iron from the bargain bin. But the trouble starts when you try to remove the waffle and clean it afterwards. A café owner recommended we only buy quality waffles AND use a non-stick spray. WMF stands for quality in our eyes, and non-stick sprays are readily available everywhere. So we fired up the WMF waffle iron, sprayed it, and poured in the batter. The temperature is easily adjustable (everyone will find their own perfect setting!) and we enjoyed it. Cleaning was super easy! We highly recommend it!!

It's definitely worth it, the best waffle iron I've ever had.

Unfortunately, the plastic on the top handle and the base broke after about 2.5 years. Judging from other reviews, this seems to be a common problem. The screwed-on plastic parts could easily be replaced, however, I haven't received a response from customer service yet, and it looks like the whole device will have to be thrown away.

Lono waffle iron
Unfortunately, the plastic handles can't withstand the heat; one I bought three years ago had a broken handle, and the handle of the second one, bought in October 2020, broke in the same place. The waffles themselves are very good, though. These machines really should be recalled.
