Deliberately flawed design.
Planned obsolescence. The warranty has expired and the food processor no longer works. The reason: a tiny plastic gear, about the size of a penny, is broken. The entire food processor has to be thrown away because replacement gears are unavailable. I have lost all trust in the WMF brand! I will definitely never buy WMF products again!

3/4 of a year old and unusable
can only echo the negative reviews. The device is less than a year old, used normally, and the thread holding the blade has come loose. Because of a missing tiny screw, I have to order a whole new glass jar – this has nothing to do with sustainability or quality. WMF employees can't even tell me if I'll receive the replacement jar at all; they just send me away with the words, "You'll see." I'll only mention in passing that the blade bent within four weeks.

It's a real shame that WMF apparently learns nothing from the many negative reviews and doesn't use the feedback to eliminate the weakness.

This device deserves zero stars.
...but you have to click 1 star for WMF (defective product). It's incomprehensible that in this age of throwaway society it's impossible to get this small gear. Even for the Aldi food processor, you can order a replacement online.

Nice design. That's about it. Cheap product. Repeatedly defective gears. I don't know where WMF stores all these defective devices; this has nothing to do with sustainability. Never again WMF.

Cult x Shredder gear broken
I can echo the sentiments of all the previous victims. The small white plastic gear on my food processor also disintegrated on its own. Presumably, the appliance's name refers to its own internal mechanism. I can't find any replacement parts. What a mess!

That's a real shame! They don't offer spare parts. Why is WMF so expensive then? As others have already mentioned, it's cheap stuff in very nice packaging. WMF would have actually given me a 30% discount on a new appliance. Thanks a lot for that! And what am I supposed to do with my old one, which is three years old and in excellent condition externally?

A totally terrible device
Visually, this device is very high-quality, but as previous reviewers have already mentioned, they haven't learned anything – the plastic gear is a weak point. If you ask customer service whether you can get this "penny-pinching" part, they tell you it's impossible. They're aware of the problem, but either won't or can't fix it, and they remain indifferent to the negative reviews. The only "outrageous" suggestion is a new device with a 30% discount… hahaha. But I expect it will be no different with that one either…

The gear
...just like its predecessor. Cheap and flimsy. WMF hasn't learned a thing. Apparently, that's intentional. This was my last WMF product.
